Mr. Smith Agency and dPost Studio were asked to creative direct the 2024 AAF Buffalo AAAs. With this year's theme being camp (think campfires, badges, flags, and s'mores!) the concept for awards were framed, embroidered patches. Ensuring the silver and gold ADDY patches maintained equal detail and whimsy, and a cohesive aesthetic aligned with this year’s camp theme was important, with each patch containing an outdoor scene representing day and night.
Special award winners were to receive one of a kind, framed chenille patches. Illustrating outdoor scenes such as hiking, stargazing, gathering by the campfire, and looking out over the horizon were intended to represent the recognition and success of each recipient–capturing themes of dedication, adventure, innovation, and advocacy.

When creating this show book's Table of Contents, I immediately thought to illustrate a map– assigning major areas of the fictional Camp Wannawinanaddy to the largest chapters of the book and integrating various logo marks throughout the campsite.
