Kannavie is an inclusive, tasteful, and fun brand equipped with a voice that’s both approachable and unapologetically bold. Empowering and educating humans with vulvas, especially those with less access to sexual health education, is a huge part of their mission. Kannavie believes that adequate health education is a human right. Not only does Kannavie provide holistic product alternatives, they aim to create straightforward discussions about intimate wellness and vaginal health.

Kannavie’s branding embodies sensuality and strength. That’s why developing a logotype that holds both structure and elegance sets off the brand’s overall direction. Forming a sultry, inviting color palette was equally as important in the brand process when considering the three main products for launch– each colorway developed with consideration of their intended use. Earthy and deep shades of orange and green help ground the color palette, while jewel tones, soft, and bright accent colors complete a full spectrum of vibrance.
While CBD is the key ingredient Kannavie uses in their products to increase pleasure and decrease pain, they did not want the branding to scream “cannabis.” Finding the balance between showcasing the holistic approach to each formula and the sex-positive voice they have was a key step in the discovery phase.
It was refreshing to work with a brand whose mission and products continue to empower and educate people through an authentic brand-consumer relationship.
